advisable video card for my mother board for good gaming experience

i'm planning to buy a new video card because mines getting pretty old and errors keep on coming plus the wires are somewhat screwed and im kind of getting confused on what to buy, can you guys help me pick one, not too expensive but in a decent gaming experience, right now im currently playing online games like Heroes of newerth, dota 2 etc...

for example in psu=watts or flashdrive=memory capacity?
is gtx 750 compatible to my computer?
