advise on a good 1150 Micro ATX motherboard

I am looking for a Micro ATX motherboard under $100
Don't necessarily need SLI
I am most likely going to pair it with a Intel Core i3-4170

Would it be advisable to go with an 8 series motherboard to potentially save some $$? Would it be worth it?

This will be a multipurpose machine that will occasionally be used for gaming.

The 4170 is still new and boards with out-of-box support are limited to those with usb 3.1 support as far as I can tell. The vast majority of others will need a bios update unless you can verify the bios version before purchase. Here's 2 boards with confirmed support for the 4170, but they are both Z97, standard ATX size and well above your listed budget.

It might be a lot easier to just get a 4160 and skip the headache. Maybe someone else here knows more about it?

What they didn't apply in the Specs is that it actually supports. DDR3 3100+(OC)/2933(OC)/2800(OC)/2400(OC)/2133(OC)/1866(OC) not just 1600/1333/1066

And one think i would highly suggest is that you do not overclock with any motherboard that is $100 or less because they simply do not support it even if you can do it.
