Hello I'm getting ready to start on my 4th PC build with AMD Ryzen 9 and looking for a good case with built-in vertical GPU mount or maybe I can take an older case and add one in myself. I had my eyes on the Cougar Panzer Evo but it seems that it may be discontinued. https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16811553035 My other choice was the Thermaltake View 71 but its manly for the style and color. It does not have many cooling options for SSD/HDD vertical mounting as the Cougar case. https://www.newegg.com/white-therma..._re=vertical_gpu_mount-_-11-133-377-_-Product
If I had to settle for anything I guess it would be the Corsair Graphite Series. I love Corsair RAM, PSU, and Coolers but the cases are kinda meh. https://www.newegg.com/black-corsai...ase&cm_re=corsair_case-_-11-139-048-_-Product

Damn I didn't think about the glass at all....I guess I will get the O11 XL and leave it as it is. Or I could go with a dual water cooling setup for the CPU and GPU with a 120 and 240 at the top.
There are vertical gpu kits that let you use the horizontal PCIE brackets - those are fine, like so:

The O11 XL has more horizontal space for it.
That...
Thanks for the advise on the Lian Li cases Phaaze88. After doing some research this case also lead me to other cases such as Phanteks Enthoo 719 which looks more appealing but I do not plan on building a dual system and a lot of the parts are too weak in comparison to the O11 XL. It does come with vertical GPU mounts and it makes me sad that I would have to purchase a kit for the XL that costs over $100 making the case that much more expensive. Then I came across the Be Quiet Dark Base Pro 900 which blew my mind the fact that I could rotate the mobo tray around and comes with vertical GPU mount & still will come out cheaper vs the XL plus buying the vertical mount. But then again I do not plan on dealing with the Be Quiet built in cooling controls because I plan on using a Corsair or Cool Master cooling setup with RGB lighting. If anyone can advise if there is a cheaper vertical mount that will fit this case then please let me know. Sadly, even on Newegg this is out of stock and only found the silver on ebay for a good price, should I go head and purchase it now or wait?

Phanteks Enthoo 719
I have this case. VERY, VERY ROOMY. I bought it with plans to play around with gpu liquid cooling later on, but circumstances + the pandemic put a wrench in those plans.
I really wanted the O11 XL, but that ROG Certified crap put me off - ROG emblem + Asus Tax... they really think they're hot stuff.
The bios on their motherboards is very user friendly, but that does not make up for how much they charge for a number of their products VS other vendors, aka, the Asus Tax.

That out of the way... the vertical mount you want isn't discontinued - is it really a deal breaker to get the case and run horizontal gpu until the mounting kit is available again?

No its not a deal breaker in fact I watched a video on Youtube with the O11 XL vs the 719 and both cases appears to be the top choices as far as best bang for the buck. The overall CONS is what threw me off about the 719 via https://www.newegg.com/anthracite-grey-phanteks-enthoo-luxe-2-full-tower/p/N82E16811854089?Description=Phanteks Enthoo 719&cm_re=Phanteks_Enthoo_719--11-854-089--Product&quicklink=true. I also saw that Cool Master made a vertical mount for the regular O11 and they said that any mount with a 7 slot will work but the XL has a 8 slot.

I see. I didn't run into the same issues, but I wasn't able to get a custom loop started either. So it's kinda sitting in my closet for now... should've waited till I had everything else before I bought it.
Oh well, live and learn...*

Now I want to add a cubed case to my collection. 🤔
Maybe not...*

The O11 XL has more horizontal space for it.
That said, it is intended for liquid cooled builds.

Solution
With everything shown, the O11 XL will be prefect now I just got to find out who makes that bracket and I can begin my build. A lot of parts are out of stock but so now that the case is out the way I can now search for the motherboard I need. Any thoughts on where I can get this bracket? I wasn't able to ask pedro19 on the Reddit thread, post is locked

I was going to buy this mount for the $59.99 I saw on the site but a $20 shipping fee....yeah its a no go. Damn shame packaging of this can't be that expensive. On Amazon is sold out of course
