I bought a corsair tx750m psu.For similar levels of performance, a 2060 super would be the way to go. Make sure your replacement power supply, is a good quality one.
So i should go for a 2070 super then?Stretching to the 2070S will make for a decent upgrade over the 1080 with a nice performance uplift, but the 2060 will be there or thereabouts with the 1080 with the slight added bonus of RT which is improving all the time with DLSS 2.0...
Thank you for the help! Both are excellent GPU's and if it is the MSI RTX 2070 Super Gaming 'X' version then it is a great GPU and has an excellent cooling solution. The Gaming X boosts a bit higher to 1800MHz as opposed to the EVGA which hits 1770MHz, though both will boost well past 1800MHz in real life...

But to be honest they are both great and EVGA have probably one of the best support of all manufacturers...Which ever one looks best to you!!!
