[SOLVED] Advise on pci-e 2.0 model

Hi there. Again i come here to ask for some advice... got and old 775 system with PCIe 2.0 X16 interface. My actual card is a Gigabyte GTX 670 2GB. What's the best card advice to replace this one???
Checked some posts when some users reply that a PCIe 3.0 card would work on a 2.0 system... Read i can go up to a 1050ti model is that correct??

Yes, it works but why? Every 775 cpu is a bottlekneck for 1050 Ti. Keep the 670.

and something better than gtx 670 would i notice some difference? is any model with more ram perhaps?? this has only 2GB DDR5

The GTX 1050 Ti would be more of a sidegrade performance-wise than an upgrade. At best you'll get is a more efficient GPU and compatibility with some modern features, but that's about it.
