hey,
i build my first ever system a little over 6 months ago and are very pleased,
i have a fair bit of money laying around and i enjoy just building them
considering i can't really add to mine, i felt like upgrading,
i build my first one with the cheapest parts i could find, cause i didn't think i'd get serious (and honestly i thought i'd stuff it up)
so i spent about 300 on it, then bought graphics card and psu for bout 190 so i was very happy
you can see my current specs below
Motherboard - $129
-Asus P8P67-LE-B3
CPU - $182
- Intel i5 2400 3.1ghz quad
i picked these to replace my current, mobo and cpu and just wanted your thoughts, other reason for upgrading is
i'm running winxp 32bit and i got my hands on some video editing software that requires vista or win7 64bit,
and i believe it's pretty demanding on cpu, i'm working with special effects and need the rendering power/speed,
so i thought this might be a good excuse, i do love gaming on my system, (Crysis 1&2, BC2, MW2, WOW)
thanks,
