hello, well, i´m thinking on buying a second new computer just to run internet and games. i would particulary like a semphron over the 2800+ or the celeron 3.0ghz sk 775.many customers have told me that although sk 775 is more expensive than the sk 754 for which there is a semphron, sk775 is bound to be more efficient and many improvements have been made. well, the thing is that to be able to notice this, i would have to buy the more expensive mobos with pci x16 and other things. because of the compability between mobos of 775 for celeron and p4, in any case i would be able to improve the processor, the same case occurs in sk 754 for semphron and a64. well, the case is, should i go for celeron sk775 3.0ghz?or should i proceed with semphron for sk 754??, in theses terms, which mobo would you buy? the only requisite for mobo is the cost, only till 80 or 90 euros.
many of you will say that why do i want to buy something that is not that powerfull to a64 and they are relatively past.well the answer is that i have and xp3000 clocked to 2367 fsb 225 512 geil value ratio 1:1 with fsb and 2.5 4 4 8, in an nforce 2 gigabyte ga7n400 pro 2, and i would not like to buy something more powerfull because of the money. having made my numbers, and a64 would cost me more than 150 euros more than the two other configurations. i do not want to buy a poor mobo for 939 knowing that there are more "improvements", such as pci x16, sli, etc.
i know there has been a buyer´s guide, but i don´t think that guide considers the new celeron and it´s new availability for sk775.
what do you think about this?
thanks for all your inputs.
