I was trying to pirate Office and I got adware in my browser whenever I open a new Chrome window, it goes to a website but in the settings the search engine was Google. When I extracted the file, Defender detected a few viruses in folder 0\1\2\3\4\5\7\8\9\msw.exe and 0\1\2\3\4\5\6\7\8\9\2.exe . Defender detected the 2.exe file as a KMS and the "risk" of it is High. But I allowed the 2.exe and deleted msw.exe the normal way using keyboard combination shift + delete. I decided to install kaspersky security cloud-free but I haven't run a scan yet and it found a few viruses but the adware in the browser is still there (I haven't manually run a scan yet).
What should I do to make the pc safe enough to deal with financial stuff? I don't want to reinstall Windows or wipe the disk as it will take a tremendously long time to get everything up again in the pc.
