I have a computer with specifications

core i7 10700
RAM 8GB DDR4 (2x4)
gigabyte h410m-s2
evga gtx 1080 8gb ddr5
psu: aerocool lux 550w

I plan to upgrade the gpu to rtx 3070, is the psu, Aerocool Lux 550w, able to lift my computer specs?

That Aerocool Lux is a really low quality PSU... it's group regulated and made by Aerocool. This says it all = junk.

Don't really understand the choice of going with a really cheap low end PSU on a system that you've paid a pretty penny on... it doesn't make sense.

The more I look at your build the stranger it gets... I7-10700 and GTX 1080 with the lowest quality motherboard and PSU?... not to mention 8GB of RAM????

Doesn't really make sense to me that you've cheaped out so much on very important (maybe the most if you want everything to last) components.

Do yourself a favor and upgrade that PSU to a better one. For a 3070 650W would be sufficient.
