I haven't really seen other people talk about aesthetic upgrades so I'm here to start the conversation!

Backup!

Hello! My name is Brian and I'm in love with PC hardware and everything else that has to do with PCs. I built my PC nearly six months ago for computer gaming and homework and I'm already getting bored of how it looks. I'm looking to aesthetically upgrade my build but my creativity is limiting me. I DO NOT WANT TO BUY A NEW CASE OR NEW COMPONENTS (even though the Corsair 570X case is very sexy), and would like to not spend more than 50$ for parts. If you have any recommendations of what things I can buy or do to improve how my PC/Desk looks, please let me know. I need to spice up my surroundings!

My build is a BLACK and BLUE build, however, all my lights are RGB and are configurable, just my H440 case is blue and black.

Things I've thought of doing...

1. Getting a rainbow case fan from NZXT
2. Getting RGB Desk Lights
3. Getting different colored PSU cords

Any other options? Please right down below!

RGB room lighting (desk lighting) will easily be the most noticeable upgrade you can do. I had a cheap RGB kit on my desk for about a year and loved it, until they quit working (dont cheap out). Now Im just running christmas lights. The extra backlighting really accents the setup nicely.

RGB or multicolor fans are pretty dull, sure they look pretty at first, but they never match a build and they quickly get looked over as more "case lighting".

Sleeved cables are always a nice touch (especially with cable combs) but they are more subtle, and get expensive fast.

Thank you so much for your input, yeah I think I'll get desk lights, anyone know what lights to get? Hue seems sort of expensive but if it's the only option, I'll get them! Any other alternatives for desk lights?
