AFD.SYS is part of the magic glue that makes Windows Networking work. It provides the "hooks" to make things like the TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper Service and the QOS RSVP Service work.

AFD is short for Ancillary Function Driver, which dates back to the early days of Windows NT.

its possible drivers haven't been written for it yet, I have no idea what they might be changing in it for next build
