Ok, I am looking from some affordable recommendations for the following:

• An affordable, yet reliable, PSU unit for a PCI Express / Socket 939 AMD64 3200+ system in the range of 350-400W.

• A good heatsink for overclocking a 90nm 3200+ on air. Something affordable and preferably quiet (at least when not at load).

• A quality--but affordable (in the $30-$50 range)--tower or mid tower case for said system.

Thanks for any recommendations.

The Fortron Source/Sparkle Power units (same units, model numbers FSPxxx-yyy where xxx is the size and yyy stand for features) are exceptional values in the smaller sizes. For example, the FSP350's are good for around 410W and cost around $40.

Larger sizes are still a reasonable value but cost significantly more, for around $65 you can get an FSP400, and for around $75 you can get an FSP530.

Yes, they call it a 350W unit, but FSP rates their supplies at continuous load rather than peak load, and that continuous load represents 70% of the value most cheap companies use (Peak instantanious load). So the "350W" FSP350 provides a similar amount of power to a generic 500W power supply, but being a higher quality unit it provides better power filtration and uses longer life components.

It provides a little more power than an Antec True Power 380W.
