Question after a mistake i made(detaild below),my games freeze for 4 5 seconds all the time,what do i do?

So, I was watching on Netflix using chrome and when i got to 1:10:30 during a movie, my pc froze completely, I couldn't move my mouse, touch anything on my keyboard so I unplugged it, when I opened it up again and tried continuing the movie it did the same thing at the exact same time so i unplugged it(dumb ik). Upon restarting my pc everything seemed ok but when I started playing a random game I started getting constant stuttering and the screen would freeze for 5 seconds at a time. Is there anything I could do, like reinstalling drivers that would help, or do i need to replace a component and if so, which one?
