after all...is it better for gaming?

Hello everyone, after windows 8 being on the market for some time now, can anyone really say for sure if it is better for gaming in general than 7..? As simple as that.

win8 or 8.1 is almost similar to win7 except the metro concept. for old games, it might and might not compatible but modern games should work
