So I installed a BIOS update on my Aorus Z370 Ultra Gaming motherboard and when it restarted after installing the bios update my windows didnt launch. I have windows on my SSD and the boot priorities on my SSD but for some reason Windows dont boot from SSD anymore for some reason they started only booting when i used my HDD in the boot options even though there are no windows installed on the HDD and i cant set the priorities on HDD either. I tried the CMOS battery reset and that didnt work.

Try these main methods.

Method 1
  1. Shut off your computer
  2. Hold the power button until your computer starts and shuts down again
  3. Press the power button again, your backup BIOS should kick in now and should re-flash the backup BIOS if there's anything wrong with the new one.
Method 2
  1. Shut off your computer
  2. Hold the power AND the reset button for about 10 sec, than release.
  3. It should boot into the backup BIOS now.
