I have an ASROCK Z97 Anniversary Motherboard, and an NZXT Phantom 410 chassis. I have just completed the build, but now whenever I turn on the PC, the case fans run at standard, but after the BIOS screen disappears, the case fans go 100% for about a minute, then go back to standard. Any possible solutions? Btw in the BIOS all the fan speed settings are set to standard.

It sounds like the motherboard for some reason wants to "test" the fans for safety mesures. I'm guessing you already have checked the BIOS for solutions, if not i would recomend looking for some setting in BIOS that might be responsable for the fans. Also are you sure that all the fans are at 100%?

If all the fans are at 100% and you cant find any setting in BIOS i dont think there's much you can do about it.
Its common for the motherboard to "test" all the fans by setting them at maximum speed at boot, but 1 minute sounds a bit long.

Do the fans go back to standard when windows has booted or do they go back to standard after?

If the fans go back to standard directly when windows has booted its totally normal and its not that much that can be done.

The fans don't go back to normal as soon as windows boots, it's always about 1 min, whether I'm in the BIOS, or in the Windows setup.
