After changing something in regedit my laptop doesn't boot

I wanted to clean my pc (factory reset) and it didn't allow it showed that no changes were made. I decided to make a new account and delete the old one but when i created the new one i couldn't log in it because i ran into a error or something later on i looked in yt how to fix it and i needed to go in regedit go to windows/microsoftMT i think and change something from 1 to 0 and then i restarted the pc it shows the 'compaq' logo and thats it only black screen left , i even left it for couple hours because i thought it froze on boot or something but it didn't do a thing just black screen. I tried to press f11 it showed 'F11 system recovery.......' i need to fix it somehow but i can't find anything. Can you help me out?

Meddling with registry is NEVER a choice if you don't know what you are doing, and of course, REFRAIN from youtube solutions.
From what I understand, you have damaged your software. I suggest these:
1) Try running system restore from safe mode.
2)Do a repair install with the installation disc.

And a tip for future if you are absolutely compelled to fiddle with such things - you can click any key in the registry and using file go to export, and save it as a file you can later put back in the registry if needbe. I've never done backups before, but that's decidedly bad practice. You should always make a copy of the keys you intend to change.

Change that "something" back.
Boot into windows recovery environment, run regedit and make necessary changes.

Or run system restore. That probably will be easier, since you're not sure, what exactly you changed.

How do i get to safe mode?
F11 nor F8 works , and about the insallation disc -i made a usb recovery disc but the laptop didn't do anything

F8 should normally work.... Try all F keys and Delete.

Yea i tried the usb the pc didnt respond nor the F8 key
