After de-installing and re-installing Norton (as well as Constant Guard) Windows 7 says it's not genuine. Have had Windows 7 for years, though! I am flabbergasted....What can I do?
(Am relatively computer illiterate, hence, every response that takes this into consideration would be greatly appreciated!)

Yes, I did. It didn't work and kept trying to validate. However, I tried to type in my product key, but always got a message saying that I was using "unacceptable characters"....my product key begins with two "0"s....

I wouldn't be able to say! They did do a system restore, though - of that I'm sure. The issue must have been caused by updates that were installed just a day prior. Sorry that I can't be of more help!
