First, here is my setup:
-Intel i5 6600k skylake OC to 4.1Ghz (OC profile on gigabyte easytune)
-Gigabyte GA-Z170x Gaming 7 Rev.1001
-Viper 2x8GB 3200mhz DDR4 (currently sitting at default 2133mhz)
-Samsung 250gb SSD
-EVGA GTX 960 FTW edition w/ 4GB vram x2 in SLI (sometimes slightly OC, sometimes not)
-Coolmax 700 watt psu
-Asus optical drive
Ok so my issue is that i am trying to use the XMP profile for the ram that comes with the bios. This is set for 3200mhz. After I enable this and restart it takes me to bios with a error message saying it is unable to boot. I have tried using the easy tune at all the different supported speeds above 2133mhz and no dice. I feel like this is a conflict of settings somewhere, that I am not doing this correctly.
Now everything is up to date, heat is not an issue (under full load the cpu and memory dont get out of the mid 30s degrees C), am I falling short in the power department for that extra 0.13v? Doesn't seem likely. Idk that is why I am here pls help.
Thanks,
-Austin
