Question After fitting new PSU, computer power blinks?

Hey there,

Yesterday, I received my new PSU which is Corsair RM750x. I used it for around 1 hour, then I started the download and went to bed. In the morning computer power was blinking like this:

System:

• Samsung 970 EVO 250GB M.2 - Solid state drive
• Intel Core i5 8400 - Processor
• Corsair Vengeance LPX - 16 GB RAM
• Sapphire PULSE RX 5600 XT 6G GDDR6
• Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L - Minitowermodel
• MSI Z370M GAMING PRO AC - Motherboard
• Western Digital Wd40Ezrz Blue 4 Tb Hdd Desktop Sata 6 Gb/S

Any idea about this problem?

This is strange.. it is not power cycling.. it is like Some overload....
Did you tested voltages of PSU rails with multimeter? Are they fluctuating?

Try to clean RAM slot also.. may be something is not detecting..

But I think it is an issue with PSU, cable or something like Power related

Tried with the old PSU, it is working. Is there any possibility to be this PSU is overkill for these components? A friend of mine suggested but never heard something like that.

this is a modular psu so recheck if all cable are plug in correctly in it and on the board .

Two times plugged out and in. Still the same.

what was the orig PSU? are you mixing you old modular cables with the new PSU?

The previous one was EVGA Supernova 550G2.

Nope, using new cables.
It was working last night, somehow it started blinking while working.

well, no chance of overloading your system with a PSU, sound like it may have a fault - since it's new, best to just RMA it and avoid any issues.
