Hey, did you transfered your OS to this drive? or this drive is just a backup drive? Please provide more details so that we can better assist you.

When you initially installed windows on your boot drive, I suspect you had a hard drive connected.
If so, windows placed some hidden folders on that hdd for recovery purposes.
Removing that hdd will prevent you from booting.
I am not experienced in recovery from that situation so google is your friend there.
