I reset all my settings and pressed the button on my motherboard and now I lag in games. Why I did that because my mobo couldn't detect my k70 keyboard and i thought it would help when all I had to do is hold ESC and plug the keyboard in. I had windows 8.1 and I've tried all drivers and checking if anything is bogging down my internet and nothing is.
I've upgraded to windows 10 and still same issue.
Basically I have really low ping and it spikes from 9-30 or 8-50 it's so weird.
What I have:
  • -Checked all drivers for mobo EVGA X58 SLI
  • -All windows updates are up to date
  • -wired connection
  • -I've check all my wired connections and router and modem everything is good
  • -tried different pc and same game no lag on different pc
  • -I can't try a different ethernet port because I don't have another one on my mobo
  • -I've tried resetting my network to fix it through cmd nothing helps

Been researching for months and I haven't come up on a solution other than just building a new pc which in the meantime I can't until a couple more months, I have a 970strix and this pc can take most games at high I don't want to give it up because of lag :(
IDK any help would be appreciated
