After install and upgrade from windows 7 home premium to professional with missing drivers.

So I bought a acer aspire laptop that already had windows 7 home prem on it and I had a disk with pro on it from my desktop so I thought let me upgrade this thing even tho I really didn't need to... so simply put it's missing and can't reinstall: PCI simple Communications controller, network controller, and Ethernet controller leaving this thing dead in the water with no way to connect to the internet.

My specs are:
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU P6200 2.13 GHz

RAM: 400 GB (3.68 GB usable)

64 bit Operating System

Model number: 5733Z

Please help and ask for any other specs I'm missing out first time posting on this website thanks again.

Your drivers should be on there website. Provided by this link: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/3680?b=1

When you upgrade Windows to a different version you must know that sometimes drivers can't be interchangeable if that makes sense.

Yes I understand what your saying but for the link you provided what exactly am I looking for to download to fix this problem also I am doing this over the phone so can't I just download the files and put them on the laptop and it should work or do I need to place them in a certain folder/location?

Well assuming you have another computer with internet you want to download the drivers on a USB than plug it in to the current Acer and install it that way of the USB.

Alright thanks I did exactly what you said had to pin point the exact wireless lan driver so I went through installing 2 others that weren't right but in the end I got the driver I needed it resolve the problem knew I could depend on the people on this site thanks again!
