After installed the ram desktop won't turn on

After i put the ram in cpu made sure the sounds click, then the computer, desktop light on and off nothing happened ..ram were the old ones which i use ..plzzhelp

Sounds like some of the RAM sticks may be dead.

Assuming you bought the RAM compatible with your system. Try each new stick of ram at a time, in the slots where the old ones were.

If it nothing works, then use your old RAM again. If it works perfect, then it means your new RAM is dead.
