After installing GPU boot takes 2 minutes! (used to be 15 secs)

I have a cheap Dell inspiron system, got some cash and upgraded it to put in an SSD, boot times were solid 15 seconds every time, system ran great. recently overhauled the system, new case, psu, cabling, and a GPU, since, it boots to the BIOS entry page, beaps 3 times at 30 second (ish) intervals, then boots to windows and no problems. I cannot enter the BIOS, at all. Take out the GPU however, and the system runs fine again, can access the bios, boot time is fast

anyone know why?

What PSU and GPU? Model #s. Do you have the latest BIOS? Do you have latest mobo drivers? Have you disabled the iGPU? Did you remove the old GPU drivers first?
