I just installed a EVGA GTX 980 Ti and installed all the latest drivers. Every hour or two the monitor will just freeze black or gray and am unsure what is causing this. Any ideas?

EDIT: I also installed additional RAM, but figured this was more of a video card error?

Dustin, this is clearly due to the Driver software used by Nvidia. The latest drivers for cards have some sort of a bug in which when the card goes from a high power to low power state the voltage provided to the card is reduced. This a problem related to the drivers of the card. Could I know the driver version by the way? While you're at it try switching your HDMI cable and see if the problem still continues. If I'm reading this correct could it be that you experience this problem only during gaming hours?

I know I'm a bit late...

I solved my freezing issue by rolling back to the 353.62 driver version. One of the first drivers for windows 10... I have a gtx 750 ti and it seems to be happy now.
