After installing new RAMs computer is constantly crashing,

Recently I have installed new sticks of second-hand RAM. I tested them with Windows memory diagnostic tool and Memtest86 and didn't find any errors, but after installing these sticks my PC started constantly crashing. At first, I thought Windows could be the problem and reinstalled it, but it didn't help. Then I reset BIOS by choosing Load Setup Defaults in the BIOS settings, but it didn't help either. So my question is: can the RAM sticks, which passed memory tests, cause the problem?

I don't remember how long did it run, but today I have replaced these sticks to new ones and the problem has gone. Apparently, these sticks were causing the problem. How long does Memtest need to run for?

I usually recommend 8hr to overnight with no errors.
