after installing ryzen minecraft crashes all the time

Hi Im having problems with my brothers computer after upgrading his 2600k cpu to a new ryzen 1600 r5 minecraft crashes with this error. could someone please explain what this means and how do I fix this problem?

You changed from an Intel 2600k, to a Ryzen 1600?
Did you reinstall the OS and everything else?

I had windows 10 before and reinstalled after installing ryzen.
I also updated the motherboard to the latest bios
