After installing windows 7 my dvd rom is not detected

Hello,after installing windows 7 my CD/Dvd rom is not detected. I tried the solution given here but at that place in the given fiels there are no upper and lower filters

I have Windows 7 installed, and the DVD drive only appears in Explorer when I put a disk into it, wether a non-written disk,
which it then asks me what I want to do with it, or a written disk, which then asks me with which program I want to use.
