After my Lenovo computer fell off my desk, it's acting weird.

When my Lenovo Yoga 700-14ISK laptop fell off the desk, the plastic on the corner of the screen chipped off. When I went into Windows, it told me some error, which I searched up and it said it could be from corruption. After a while of trying solutions, I just reset windows. Then I started getting another problem. Any OS I'm in (Windows or Deepin Linux) might just randomly freeze. If I'm watching a video, a little bit of audio will loop, but the screen won't change. Any help? I could open it up.

Solution

A loose displaycable will not cause it to hang. That laptop has a hardware failiure and is pretty much dead (currently dying).

Does it have a normal HDD in it? If so a fall can easily destroy a hdd's internals. A simple hdd replacement will do the trick then.

You can check your hdd's health with a bunch of programs like crystaldiskinfo and whatnot.

No, it has an ssd. I'd be willing to open it up once I get back home in a couple days. I've read the display connection may have come loose.
