After overclocking a very very small amount, usb devices are unstable

After doing the minimum overclock from the auto overclock settings in the asrock z97x Killer my iPad keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. I have the newest BIOS. Is my board defective?

What is overclocked? Is the BCLK still 100 MHz? Does it work properly when not overclocked?
