Hi,

Please tell me if this is in the wrong category.

After replacing my Sapphire AMD Radeon 7850 my boot time has got noticeably worse, I have a Seagate SSHD which usually gets to the login screen in about 14 seconds (before the gtx 660) with ultra fast boot enabled in BIOS. Please let me know if this speed is slow.

Anyway before the American megatrends logo shows up (I've disabled GUI boot by the way) there is a blinking underscore in the top left which lasts a few seconds, this did not happen with the AMD card.

Any tips on how to put the boot time back to normal or faster than 14 seconds with a Gigabyte Z87-HD3 and Seagate SSHD?

Thanks!

SSHD works by caching the frequent used files.. so it will need times before the amd driver is marked frequent....
since the other files are considered old (more frequent use) than the new driver... all i can think of is just wait....

other than that clean install OS will bring the speed back...
