So, a while back my PSU overheated and burned to a crisp. I replaced my PSU with the EVGA 500B only for it to be defective out of box and not boot my PC. After this I returned it for a Corsair VS650 and I replaced my old motherboard for a MSI 970. After doing all of this my PC will now boot and won't crash or anything but now all of my games (Dark Souls, Overwatch etc.) fluctuate between 15 and 45 fps. I've done some bench marking and I have consistent temps (50 - 60 C),my CPU is at around 45% usage and my GPU usage constantly fluctuates between 0 and 100%.

Specs:

MSI 970 MOBO

MSI RX470

AMD FX-6300

Corsair VS600

1x8gb DDR4 RAM

Solution

If you did a clean Windows setup, the only thing it can be is a hardware problem. Trick is to find the part that is bad, which is basically anything you did not change out yet.

I bought a new GPU and got an SSD from a friend, and did a clean install of windows but it hasn't changed anything. After my PSU burned, the only thing still in my PC that could've been affected is my CPU and RAM and I'm considering just sending it to Canada computers to have it diagnosed. Could it be a hardware problem or should I keep trying to find the problem?
