after reset cmos battery pc performance fell

i reset the cmos battery yesterday,waited enough for the battery to discharge . after putting it back and starting my pc ,the performance fell..a lot ..it got laggy really laggy ..not sure what to do

Resetting the BIOS changes all the BIOS settings back to their factory defaults, so you need to change some of those settings to what you changed them to before you did the reset.

but before the reset i didnt have anything changed in BIOS ..it was set to the factory defaults
