Question After spaning two drives neither show up

I spanned two hard drives together using the windows 10 disk management program. Once it finished I can't find either of them listed unless I open the disk manager program back up and it shows them as spanned. I tried restarting the computer as well but no luck. It says they are dynamic rather than a basic MBR drive.


Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

1. Please show us a screencap of the current Disk Management window.
2. Please tell us you have a good backup of any data on these drives.

The two drives I spanned don't have anything on them. All my data is currently backed up on an external drive.

Well after playing around with it I changed the drive letter from M to E and now it shows up as one drive with the capacity of both.. go figure...

OK then.
Thats what it is "supposed" to do.

Be very careful about that spanning thing.
Personally, I don't like doing that.

I did it to simplify some basic storage needs. But I have a full backup of all my data on a 10TB external drive that I'm gonna use to make monthly backups with for this setup.
