Question After temporarily switching graphics card, I no longer get any sound from the motherboard spdif.

Everything looks fine in windows (sound bar moving etc) but no sound is coming from the amplifier/speakers. Have tried different input channels on amp, different RCA-cables, even tried an optical cable (also onboard port), but no sound. Have tried latest drivers and also rolling back to non-descript Windows driver. Please help

Look in Control Panel/Sound/Playback to make sure the desired device is selected. When you were changing things, Windows may have set to another device.

Hi, thanks for helping. The SPDIF out is set as default. To be on the safe side I also disabled my Graphics card hdmi output, so the SPDIF is the only one left.
