After Ubuntu Installation. Webcam not working

Recently, I changed from windows 7 to Ubuntu 14.04. I am installing this version of Ubuntu the second time(one in my old computer, this is my new computer). After installing Ubuntu, webcam is not working. When I open Cheese Webcam Booth, It says, 'There was an error playing video from the webcam'. In skype, the video is not coming. Same in other softwares too. The device is not listed in lsusb.
CPU:Intel Pentium Dual Core
