Following an update on Monday my computer initially takes me to a blue screen asking me to choose keyboard layout.
Then choose an option, with the default being Exit & continue to Windows Roll back.
System Restore option gives me 3 choices: Windows Roll back, Windows 10 on Volume 2, and Windows 10 on Volume 2.
Upon any selection I get the error "C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is unavailable..."
If I go to the C prompt and check the disk directory it is empty except for Recovery.txt

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

You may be able to do a system repair by inserting and booting from an install disk/USB stick.

If that fails then a clean re-installation is probably necessary.
