[SOLVED] After upgrade can't get 144hz on monitor

Just upgraded from a gtx 1060 6gb to a 1660ti, as well as a motherboard and cpu to go with it, and now when I plug in my 144hz monitor, I only have the option to go 60hz. Another thing worth mentioning is that I am running a DVI - Display Port from my monitor to GPU as the 1660ti doesn't have a DVI port.

I am running a DVI - Display Port from my monitor to GPU as the 1660ti doesn't have a DVI port.

What model monitor and GTX 1660ti ?
Does monitor have DP connector? If yes, then connect with DP-DP cable.

If DVI is only option on your monitor, then either get a different GTX 1660ti model with DVI output or purchase DP->DVI (dual link) adapter (those things are expensive btw).
