After upgrade to windows 10 cannot establish internet connection. It is a Cyberpower Gamer Xtreme 1077 with intel i5 760 usin

Wired or wireless? Wired connections all correct and snug?

Any error messages or codes?

Do any other devices have connection problems?

Did you run the network troubleshooter to see what it finds and if it can fix it?

Are you able to run "ipconfig /all" from the command prompt and compare the network settings to what you expect or to other successfully connecting computers?

Computer was taken to repair shop. Tech tried twice on downloading windows 10 and still could not get computer to connect to internet. It was wired Ethernet connection tried at more than one location. He said he tried various solutions and finally went back to windows 7 before he could access internet. He said there must be some incompatibility in the board with windows 10.

That would be a bit odd. And I would expect to see more such issues if the problem was in the board.

However without being able to see the system, look at the logs, etc. who knows....

If possible try a USB or PCIx based ethernet adapter.

You might check with CyberPower:

Maybe they can provide some insight.....

Thanks for your help with this. I will contact CyberPower support and see if they can help. I will also try the work around using USB or PCIx if I can still go back to windows 10.

Because of the replies I received on this problem and it not appearing to be a common issue I decide to do a clean install of Windows 10. This worked and the computer is working fine. Thanks for the suggestions that were made that lead me to try this.
