I upgraded my CPU from an i5-11400f to an i7-10700kf, and when I booted my pc up again I got stuck on the MSI click 5 bios screen. After some research I discovered the problem was that its not detecting my SSD at all, so there's nothing to boot from. What is the issue here? Everything worked fine on the i5, and the bios screen recognizes my i7, just not the SSD. All cables are securely in place.

Solution
I put the i5 back and everything runs normally.... is the i7 not compatible with something? the motherboard recognizes it just fine though.
Using the i5 get the latest bios/chipset/ME driver.
Verify everything functions using the i5.
Install the i7 and test.
If it still fails remove the gpu and use the igp...test.
