Hi please help!

I'm new at all this unfortunately.
I've recently upgraded my 2600 ryzen to a 5600, I checked compatibility (apparently just needed a simple bios update which I did via rog strix b450-i to the lates one) and now I'm seeing big spikes in temp. I can get to around 90+ degrees playing squad. Idling temps are 40+ degrees
I'm using a NZXT kraken 120mm liquid cooler in an itx mini tower
GTX 1660 SUPER 6gb graphics card (which is running at normal temps)
Please let me know if you want more info as I'm very new to this.

Many thanks

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

What BIOS version?

PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)? History of heavy use for gaming, video editing, or even bit-mining?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

Thermal paste: what paste was used and how was the paste applied?

sounds like its either the cooler isnt mounted properly or poor quality paste

what paste did you use and did you clean of the old paste on the cooler prior to installing any new paste.

Btw
did the pump die?

I see a lot of issues with AIO's.

I prefer AIR cooling.
I wish it did, it would narrow it down.. It was working fine with my last cpu which I just swapped out so I doubt it
