I have a Radeon RX 590 (Red Devil by PowerColor) and when I have used Afterburner and increased the core clock on my GPU (To 1700Mhz for example), the radeon software seems to revert it back to its default setting (1576Mhz). This gives me crashes during games where the screen will freeze and then proceed to a black screen and then finally closing the application with a message that says "Render device not found". Any advice or help?
My other specs are (If they are any help):
CPU : Ryzen 5 2600 - 6 core
RAM : 8gb 2400Mhz (I know this is not ideal for gaming yet still works fine)
Motherboard : B450 A PRO
PSU : EVGA 500W
OS : Windows 10

Solution
I'd not OC on an Evga 500 whether it's the N, W or B version. Especially not with a power hungry Rx590 on top of what's being used for the cpu OC.

Get a decent 650w psu, then start worrying about software issues.
