Question Afterburner Turning monitor off then on

As title, whenever afterburner loads mt custom set up the monitor turn off then on again? Checked all cables new display port cable still no luck?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Make and model monitor? Connectivity DP - correct?

Temporarily disable all power savers and screensavers to determine if the problem ends.

Try reinstalling Afterburner. Current installation could be buggy or corrupted in some manner.

Reinstall GPU drivers: Manually download directly from the manufacturer's website. Reinstall and reconfigure. No third party installers or tools.

Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer for any error codes, warnings, or informational events that occur just before or at the time the monitor turns off and on again.

Solved, done a complete windows install. The day before it started I had re-pasted my gpu so maybe that had something to do with it?
