Hi, guys I have a quick question, I recently put together a pretty decent build:
gtx 970 exoc (extreme overclocked edition) galax black edition
I5-4590
8 gigs g.skill ram

Would it be necessary for me to get a aftermarket gpu cooler. I know aftermarket cpu coolers are common but if I'm maxing out my gpu could that do harm with the stock cooler?

Solution
No aftermarket needed, unless you go water cooling.

Just make sure you have good case airflow, as cooler dumps a fair amount of heat back in to the case.

You dont need aftermarket to GPU unless you are going to overclock hard(means you are going to raise voltages) and you lose your warranty if you take GPU heatsink out.
