Get Cossacks Back to War or the upcomming Cossacks II. It is like AOE on crack. The basic gameplay is the same but the maps are at least 10x bigger and the only pop limit is how fast ur comp is. It will literally crash ur comp when the pop is to high I've had armies of 10,000 march against eachother on my P4 3.06ghz machine. Any war strategy lover MUST play cossacks.

PC Gamer Magazine's February 2005 cover story is on Age of Empires III. It's an 8 pager, with screenies. It's release date is second half of 2005. The screenies are absolutely amazing for an RTS. I wonder what the system requirements will be.


Some quotes:

"brand new graphics engine from the ground up."

One of the two main goals of development team is that "Age of Empires III would have the best looking graphics of any game, period."
