Age of mythology problem?

For some reason my game all of a sudden started saving? Why?! Can someone explain?

I still play this game after 7 years!

I remember AoM, one of my favorite RTSs, favorite setup was Egyptian with Isis.

I actually meant stopped saving....... the game would not save, this also happened in rise of nations

Don't both save to the same file directory? Check the properties of the folder or something...
