Age of Mythology

Can anyone help .................
I'm trying to remove Age of Mythology from PC (P4/XP Home). All file removed
EXCEPT for 4 mpg files - genr520.mpg thru' genr523.mpg, which are in
C:\Games\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology\sound\dialog.

End up with CRC error message and PC hanging.

How do I remove these files ??????

The files are (sorry) not mpg but mp3...................

Also, i downloaded a program called 'SecureDelete' and ran from command
line. This failed to delete files/folders. an error message was given (4
times) as follows:-

A hardware I/O error was reported while accessing <File path>

Any clues ?????

Hi Barrowhill,

Sounds like it's time to right click the drive in My Computer,
go into Properties / Tools and run the utility there to scan
your drive for errors and isolate any bad sectors.
