Age OLD QUESTION SLI FOR VIDEO EDITING OR SAVE THE MONEY

I am finally retiring my 2600k and Asus MB editing pal. She has been a good one. She is solid as a rock at 4531.4 ghz or so. Stays cool and stable on Corsair radiator. Anyway all the parts are too good for current mb and cpu ( 5 ssd's from 1 tb evo to 500 gb scan disk extreme, Corsair pro 850 series psu). I am going with Asus Z270E, 64 gb Corsair RGB Ram, and now the weak link and question. I have a Asus 1060 6 gb stryx graphics card. I want to go SLI with another, or is that a waste. I mainly use Adobe Premier, and I can put these things together, but I am far from an expert at anything. I call it editing build, but realize it is more dual purpose.Thanks in advance. The GTX 1060 does not support SLI.

The GTX 1060 does not support SLI.

The cards don't actually need to be in SLI to use both cards for hardware acceleration of video editing.
