what's the difference between those two slots....and do certain graphics cards take advantage of the pro slot??

There have been just too many questions about this.

Both slots are exactly the same performance wise. The Pro Slot lets certain graphics cards draw more power. Only Professional 3D Workstation graphics cards like the Wildcat 5110 need this port.

Still, it don't hurt to have that little bit of extra capability/juice... just in case.


I STILL have nightmares to what I did to my poor Voodoo3 + Gigabyte board. SERIOUS case of RTFM!!!!
